This wedding is one for the books for sure. I’ve known Mary for a while now, we used to work together, so I was SO excited when she called and wanted to meet with me about the possibility of doing her wedding. Mary was also a bridesmaid in a wedding that I photographed last fall. When we sat down, we always talk about the details of the wedding. We talk about what they envision for their special day, how big, location, other vendors and anything else that as a photographer I may need to know. One thing that mary said that I absolutely loved was that there will be no “bridesmaids”. Mary is the only girl out of a large family, and instead of choosing any of her girlfriends, she would rather have her brothers stand with her. I LOVED THE IDEA!!! (Not to mention, it did make the day a little faster with the family and wedding party being one in the same 😉 )
Mary took on a new roll for a little bit during the reception. Gotta give a shout out to Ms Tiffany…. Mary was a bridesmaid in her wedding last fall. <3
and now a few words from our bride
What was the most memorable part of your day? Â Â The ceremony, especially our vows
Any advice for future brides and grooms? Hire a Wedding Planner/Coordinator for Day of Coordinating. It is well worth the money!
Funniest part of your day? My silly brothers during ceremony and speech during reception
Did you do a first look? Why or why not?  We did not do a first look because I thought it was very important to have everyone see my groom, see me for first time!                                                                                                                         I was content with my decision, however if it wasn’t important to me, it would have saved gobs of time with pics following ceremony.
Would you change anything? I would have hired a real wedding planner to coordinate and take down decorations on day of wedding.
